WorldLink provides the capability to edit any shipment data for a Consolidation Group. This task can be achieved by clicking on the Create Doc button (used both for creating and editing shipment data) or by using the function key F8.
All the fields displayed here can be modified by an authorized user. This data does not affect the original shipping data.
Modified data is stored in separate tables and is used for only consolidation purposes. For this reason, you need to be very careful when making any changes here. All changes made here will not be reflected on the “View Shipment” screen in WorldLink and on any label re-printing. The data displayed here is in a consolidated format and gets applied to the entire group as a whole, rather than individual shipments or packages. All the details displayed are grouped by an “Item Number” within the entire Consolidation Group.
Upon saving the data, you will be informed of the results returned by WorldLink server.
