Selecting [Reports/Documents | Ad hoc Reporting | Report Groups] from the menu will bring up the Report Groups search criteria window, allowing you to enter search criteria. Enter your criteria or leave the Search For field blank to return all Report Groups. The Report Groups window will open showing a summary of the Report Group information.
Available functions are:
Add - Click on this button to add a new Report Group. The user will be presented with a Report Group Dialog window.
Edit - Click on this button to edit an existing Report Group. The user will be presented with a Report Group Dialog window.
Delete - Click on this button to delete an existing Report Group. The user will be asked to confirm the removal of the Report Group. NOTE: If a Report Group is deleted, then all of Ad hoc Reports that are using this Report Group will also be deleted. You will be notified at the time of deletion that this action will occur and you can choose to cancel the deletion at that time.
Next(100) - Click on this button to display the next 100 Report Group records. This button is only active if there are more than 100 Report Groups in the list.
Prev (100) - Click on this button to display the previous 100 Report Group records. This button is only active if there are more than 100 Report Groups in the list.
Report Group Dialog
The Report Group dialog window is presented whenever a user adds or modifies a Report Group. Information about a Report Group is maintained through this dialog window.
General Information
Code - The unique code that will identify the Report Group. Report Group Code is a unique identified and the WorldLink system will reject adding Report Groups with duplicate Codes.
Description - The Description of the Report Group. the Description will be displayed in the Ad hoc Report dialog window.
User Group - Select the User Group that the Ad hoc Report will be accessible to from the drop-down list. This list is populated with data defined in the User Groups screen. If you wish to create a Report Group that is accessible to Users, you may select "All User Groups" from this User Group drop down.
Available functions are:
OK - Click on this button to accept the changes made.
Cancel - Click on this button to cancel out of the Report Group dialog window and discard any changes made.
