Selecting [Reports/Documents | Ad hoc Reporting | Ad hoc Reports] from the menu will bring up the Ad hoc Reports search criteria window, allowing you to enter search criteria. Enter your criteria or leave the Search For field blank to return all accessible Ad hoc Reports. The Ad hoc Reports window will open showing a summary of the Ad hoc Report information.
Available functions are:
Add - Click on this button to add a new Ad hoc Report. The user will be presented with a Ad hoc Report Dialog window.
Edit - Click on this button to edit an existing Ad hoc Report. The user will be presented with a Ad hoc Report Dialog window.
Delete - Click on this button to delete an existing Ad hoc Report. The user will be asked to confirm the removal of the Ad hoc Report.
Run Report - Click on this button to execute an existing Ad hoc Report. The users will be presented with the Ad hoc Report viewer where the report can viewed, downloaded, or exported to a XLS file.
Next(100) - Click on this button to display the next 100 Ad hoc Report records. This button is only active if there are more than 100 Ad hoc Reports in the list.
Prev (100) - Click on this button to display the previous 100 Ad hoc Report records. This button is only active if there are more than 100 Ad hoc Reports in the list.
Ad hoc Report Wizard
The Ad hoc Report wizard window is presented whenever a user adds or modifies a Ad hoc Report. Information about a Ad hoc Report is maintained through this wizard window.
General Information
Code - The unique code that will identify the Ad hoc Report. Ad hoc Report Code is a unique identified and the WorldLink system will reject adding Ad hoc Reports with duplicate Codes. The Code will be displayed along with the Description as a Ad hoc Report title.
Description - The Description of the Ad hoc Report. The Code will be displayed along with the Description as a Ad hoc Report title.
Report Group - Select the Report Group that the Ad hoc Report will be accessible to from the drop-down list. This list is populated with data defined in the Report Groups screen.
View - The name of the available views where the Ad hoc Report will retrieve data from. Any view in the WorldLink database that starts with the "ADHOC_" will show in this drop down.
Report Fields Information
This screen will display all the fields that are available in the view selected from the General Information. Please select the fields that you would like to have on the Ad hoc Report.
Field Ordering and Sorting
Field Ordering - This list box will be the order in which the fields will show on the Ad hoc Report. The user can move the fields around to get to the desired order.
Sorting - Move the fields to sort by on the Ad hoc Report to the right list box.
Report Criteria and Grouping
Report Criteria - using to select the criteria that would be executed against the view to show the desired data. The screen will allow up to 5 criteria selections grouped with the AND operator.
Grouping - The user can select what field to group the Ad hoc Report by.

Previous - Click on this button to go to the previous configuration section.
Cancel - Click on this button to cancel out of the Ad hoc Report wizard window and discard any changes made.
