This function allows modifications particular to the workstation. This dialog box provides valuable sources of information when trying to troubleshoot problems. These settings need to be correctly configured for the workstation in order to be able to process packages in WorldLink.
The Station Name is the name of the computer on the network. It is a static field and cannot be changed. It is provided so that you have a visual reference as to what machine is currently being used to access the WorldLink application.
The Site listing shows what site is currently being used for processing shipments. If multiple sites exist for an organization, you can choose a different site by clicking on the down-arrow box or within the white space where the site name is displayed. Hover on a site to see more detailed information about the site. The site status are:
Enabled - An active site that you have access to.
Disabled - A disabled site. Station config cannot be saved with a disabled site selected.
Invalid - Your user group does not have access to this site. Station config cannot be saved with an invalid site selected.
The Session Parameters is the regional and language profile associated with the login.
If you discover a site that is not given as an option but should be, you can either go to Site Configuration or contact your WorldLink administrator. Disabled and invalid sites appear in red. The Station Configuration cannot be saved when a disabled or invalid site is selected.
Note: When you change the site in 'Station Configuration' you need to log out and then log in again.
