This topic is for users who want a quick walk-through of how to begin the shipping process. An active Manifest needs be opened. When working with Manifests, to avoid potential problems, do not use a Future Open Manifest dated for the current day as your Active Open Manifest. Close the Future manifest and Activate it so that it is now an Active Open manifest.
If the option 'Auto Manifesting' has been enabled for the Organization, then certain manifest functions will occur depending upon actions taken in the Process Shipment screen and the current state of active and future manifests.
