Organization and Site Groups

Org/Site Groups represent the classification of shipping environments by the union between Organizations and Sites. Select this menu option to build relationships between Organizations, Sites, and User Groups. This function sets the guidelines for selected groups to have access to Organizations and Sites.

Select the Org/Site Groups menu option to configure Org/Site Groups.  The Org/Site Group search criteria window will open, allowing you to enter search criteria.  Enter your criteria or leave the Search For field blank to return all Org/Site Groups.  The Org/Site Group window will open showing a summary of the Org/Site Groups.

The layout of the screen is broken down into three parts: the Org/Site Group, the Organizations available, and the Sites available. Current Org/Site Groups appear in the top half of the screen. Organizations entered in the Organizations setup menu appear in the Organizations section. Sites entered in the Sites setup menu appear in the Sites section.

By selecting an entry in the Org/Site Group section, relationships to the Organizations and Sites will be presented. Make modifications to the relationships for the Org/Site Group by clicking in the box to the left of the item presented in the Organizations or Sites section. To select or de-select all Organizations, select the checkbox to the left of the Org Name heading.  Similarly, to select and de-select all Sites, select the checkbox to the left of Site Name heading.  Modifications made to an Org/Site Group must be saved before moving on to another Org/Site Group, otherwise the changes will be discarded.

NOTE: Disabled sites will display grayed out and cannot be updated.

By default, WorldLink has one Org/Site Group.
