Select this menu option to configure Carrier information. The carrier account search criteria window will open, allowing you to enter search criteria. Enter your criteria or leave the Search For field blank to return all carrier accounts. The carrier account window will open showing a summary of the Carrier information.

Available functions are:
Add - Click on this button to add a new Carrier to the WorldLink database. The user will be presented with the Carrier Account Dialog screen (see below).
Edit - Click on this button to edit an existing Carrier. The user will be presented with the Carrier Account Dialog screen.
Delete - Click on this button to delete an existing Carrier from the WorldLink database. The user will be prompted to confirm removal of the carrier.
Rat. Eng. - This button is only available for certain types of carriers. For more information about the rating engine configuration options, select one of the following carriers:
Transborder - This button is only available for FedEx carriers and allows you to configure the settings for Transborder.
ETD - Select this option to configure settings for a FedEx Electronic Trade Documents shipment.
Next(100) - Click on this button to display the next 100 Carrier Account records. This button is only active if there are more than 100 carrier accounts in the list.
Prev (100) - Click on this button to display the previous 100 Carrier Account records. This button is only active if there are more than 100 carrier accounts in the list.
ShipVias - Select this button to see all of the ShipVias associated with the selected Carrier Account.
The Carrier Account dialog screen is presented to the user whenever the user adds or edits a carrier from the Carrier Accounts screen.
General Information
Code - This is the code by which you want the carrier to be referenced in the WorldLink system. Certain functions of WorldLink will present the user with this code as reference to the carrier.
Description - This field is for providing a description of the carrier.
Type - Select the type of carrier from the drop-down list. This list is pre-defined in WorldLink.
Account # - This field is for the account number for the carrier.
Server Type - Indicate the rating engine used for the carrier from the drop-down list.
SCAC - This field is used for entering the four-character Standard Carrier Alpha Code used for a Bill of Lading.
Shipper Code - This field is used for entering the Shipper Code for ConnectShip carriers only. This field must match a shipper code defined in ConnectShip Progistics.
Organization - Select the organization from the drop down list that can use this carrier. You can select a particular organization, or select ALL so that all organizations can use the carrier.
EOD Report - Select the End of Day report to use for this carrier.
Disallow 0 freight when prepaid - Select to prevent shipping when freight is 0 for prepaid shipment. This option is only available for FedEx carrier accounts.
Re-rate Shipment (with last box) - Select to automatically re-rate the shipment. Selecting this checkbox will automatically update all associated ShipVias with the same setting. The consolidated rate will be calculated once the last box is shipped. This option is only available for ConnectShip carriers, with the exception of DHL.
Apply Standard Holidays - Apply the standard holidays to this carrier. If this option is not selected, the Holidays button becomes active and you can select it to define the holidays that apply to this carrier.
Synchronize Consolidated EOD Rates - Select to perform End of Day Consolidated Rate synchronization for this carrier. Available for ConnectShip and FedEx carriers.
Allow post when count mismatch - Select this option to allow manifest to post when there is a discrepancy in package count between WorldLink and the rating engine. Currently, only available for ConnectShip carriers.
Ignore FSMS Reports - Select this option if you do not wish to generate/print FSMS reports.
Print to Laser Printer (FSMS Returns Only) - select this option if you want the return label to print to a laser printer. You must also select the Print Laser? option in the Station Configuration page.
Note: If you elect to print FedEx Return Labels to a laser printer, you must first ensure that the Label File Directory path within FedEx Configuration (Label Settings | Label and Thermal Air Waybill Defaults | Label File Directory) is the same as the WorldLink manifest printer path defined within WorldLink system parameters.
Contact Information
Name - This field is used for the name of the carrier representative.
Phone - This field is used for the phone number of the carrier representative.
Email Address - This field is used for the email address of the carrier representative.
Meter # - If a meter number is associated to the carrier (e.g. for Federal Express), this field is used to contain that number.
Module Type - For ConnectShip carriers, select the appropriate module type.
E-Motion Information
Services - This field is used to enter the service code of the carrier.
Zip Range X - Enter the destination zip code range in this field.
Divert Code - Enter the name of the conveyor lane to go.
Available functions are:
OK - Click on this button to accept the changes made.
Cancel - Click on this button to cancel out of the Carrier Account dialog window and discard any changes made.
